Aishah Diyana graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (with Honours) at the International Medical University and subsequently attained her Master in Clinical Psychology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia. She has had experience working as a shadow aide and a personal learning assistant (PLA) to learners with special needs, where she supported them with challenges in the areas of academics and social skills in mainstream schools.

She transitioned to work as an assistant clinical psychologist in Hospital Kuala Lumpur in the psychiatric department where she worked closely with other healthcare practitioners. Subsequently, she worked at a private psychological centre where she primarily supported children and teenagers with various difficulties in the areas of learning, behaviour, and psychological well-being. Her clinical training at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Rehabilitation Cheras provided her with wide exposure to cases ranging from psychiatric to neuropsychological management. She gained exposure to work with a spectrum of clients from all walks of life. Some of her caseload includes stroke, traumatic brain injury, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)), and neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s) where she provided psychotherapy and conducted psychological assessments.

With regard to her therapeutical approach, she practices and applies an integrative form of psychotherapy that adapts to the unique needs of clients and their treatment goals. She is a firm believer of “Those who have a 'why' to live, can bear with almost any 'how'” (Victor Frankl) which resonates with the values of resilience and self-growth that she aims to foster with her clients in therapy.
